    Hi;
    The "light here" tab on my oven door is loose on one side. It actually hangs down and sometimes gets in the way of closing the oven door.
    Someone suggested I use JB Weld to glue it back in place. Would this be a good material to use? Or how else could I do it?

    That part is bolted on from behind. You would need to remove the door panel (easy, just 4 screws) to get to it. I would do that before resorting to the liquid weld method.

    Hi Tura;
    I took the door panel off and the bolt and clip that hold the "light here" tab in place are rusty and corroded. Plus the hole in the door panel has been slightly pulled/bent. I can't tell how the clip is supposed to hold things tight. I bent it as much as I could, but it didn't do any good. So I used a little dab of JB Weld. Hope I haven't made a mistake.
